Revlon Society officially announced it has named actress Kate Hudson to be the new ambassador of its Almay brand, People reports.
The American actress will appear in television, photo and Internet campaigns for the brand worldwide.
The first Almay ad campaign featuring Hudson is expected to come out later this year.
Hudson talked about her new gig, saying: "Almay is known for its fresh, effortless approach to beauty. At the end of the day we all want to have fun and feel beautiful– that’s what Almay is all about."
Besides representing the brand in ad campaigns, Hudson will work on Almay’s philanthropic projects.
The actress took part in the Almay Rainforest concert in New York yesterday (May 13). It was a show organized in support of the Rainforest Foundation founded by Sting and Trudie Styler to protect tropical rainforests.
