Dragons are real and they’re waiting for you

Cross the sea to visit the islands where Komodo dragons live.

Get off the beaten track on your next trip. Take to the high seas aboard an authentic replica of a schooner used back in the days when adventurers went in search of spices in the central region of Indonesia.

A cruise aboard the Silolona yacht leads you through islands inhabited by one of the most mysterious creatures on Earth, the Komodo dragon.

This beautiful wooden sailing vessel has been refitted and renovated by traditional shipbuilders. It is the brainchild of American architect Patti Seery.

The luxury yacht has also been redesigned to allow passengers to go diving. In fact, the cruise sails by some of the most beautiful dive sites in the world.

On the Silolona Sojourns website, Patti Seery explains why she created this adventure: "For many years I chartered boats for my voyages, but they all shared the same problem; No matter the cost they lacked the comfort, service, or degree of traditional integration that is important to the experience. I needed a vessel that would integrate into my sojourns, a delightful experience in its self, yet only a part of the overall experience."

The Silolona can welcome up to 10 people and is also available for private rentals at a cost of $16,000 a day.
