The saga surrounding Eminem’s next album is drawing to a close. It was previously announced that the rapper would release Relapse 2 but that was nixed. Instead, he announced the release of another album with a brand new title. The first single off that album will be available on Friday, April 30.
Eminem likes to play around with journalists. He wrote on his Twitter page last night "I’m Not Afraid" without providing any other details. Now we know that it refers to his first single, Not Afraid, and it will start playing on radio this weekend.
The album Recovery will be in stores on June 22 and Eminem promises a certain change in direction on the album.
According to Eminem, he started working on a new style during Relapse 2 and after a while it stopped making sense to release a follow up to Relapse. He wanted to give this new album a title and personality all its own.
