Epic Springsteen concert immortalized on DVD

London Calling: Live In Hyde Park hits shelves on June 22.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band gave a crowd pleasing performance at a summer festival in London last year.

The Boss’s official website announced the release of a "concert film on one Blu-Ray disc and as a two DVD set. Captured in London at the Hard Rock Calling Festival on June 28, 2009 in HD, the 163-minute film documents 26 tracks of live Springsteen that begin in daylight and progress through a gorgeous sunset into night."

The songs cover a major part of Springsteen’s career from Born to Run to Working On a Dream. He also performed some "rare covers such as The Clash’s London Calling, Jimmy Cliff’s Trapped, The Young Rascals’ Good Lovin’, and Eddie Floyd’s Raise Your Hand."

From all reports, it was an amazing live concert from start to finish. Bruce Springsteen wowed the crowd with his intensity, vocals and guitar. The Boss actually made his way down a walkway to talk to fans and take requests mid-show.

There are some extras that fans will appreciate on the concert film. "Bonus material includes stunning footage of The River from Glastonbury, June 27; and the full music video for Wrecking Ball, filmed at New Jersey’s Giants Stadium."
