Country singer Carrie Underwood wants an intimate wedding ceremony. But TeenMusic.com is reporting this is easier said than done.
The star got engaged to hockey player Mike Fisher just before Christmas and they are making plans for their big day.
Underwood has already decided to add an original touch to the ceremony by choosing her dog as the ring bearer. She also wants to serve little cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake.
The star is trying to organize a small and intimate wedding by inviting only close friends and family. But she also wants to invite people she works with that mean a lot to her.
She explains: "We’re trying to keep it as small as possible but he has so many family members and all my friends are people that I work with and I love to death so. We’re trying to keep it as small as possible."
Underwood says she is often asked about the kind of ceremony she dreamed about when she was young.
She answers: "I never thought about it until I was engaged. I wasn’t one of those little girls that always dreamt about getting married. So I have no idea what I’m doing, basically… We’re both so laid back."
