Coco Perez reports that actress Alyssa Milano created a new sports clothing collection for her Touch Clothing line.
Touch Clothing has been around since 2007.
The milanotouch.com website explains how Touch Clothing was born. It says: "TOUCH was born out of necessity. When Milano, an avid baseball fan, went to games, she wanted to wear fan gear to support her team, but found that the product mix offered in the marketplace did not address her everyday fashion needs. She felt women should be able to look stylish while cheering on their favorite team. So, she partnered with G-III Apparel Group and Major League Baseball to design and distribute a line of juniors’ ladies MLB apparel."
The new Spring 2010 collection of fun sport clothing is geared toward students. It is available online at MLB.com.
Blogger Perez Hilton is not very impressed with this new collection. He tells the actress to keep her day job.
The milanotouch.com website also adds: "The line is not just for baseball fans anymore. Recently she has joined forces with the NFL, NBA and NHL to make TOUCH available to fans of football, basketball and hockey as well."
Alyssa Milano got married last August to her longtime boyfriend, agent David Bugliari.
