Two of the biggest names in the last decade of hip hop, Jay-Z and Dr. Dre, are finally teaming up. Jay-Z joined forces with Dr. Dre on a song for Dre’s upcoming album.
The song Under Pressure with Jay-Z is one song on the new album Dre plans to release this year. The album has been delayed several times due to Dre’s involvement in other projects. This announcement may mean that the ball is finally rolling. Nas and R. Kelly also worked on tracks on the album. Other rappers rumoured to be there as well include Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Eminem and T.I.
Dr. Dre has not released an album since the 1999 release of 2001. His next album is called Detox.
Dr. Dre told CNBC, "Hopefully, we’ll be releasing (Under Pressure) in the next two weeks or so. I’m definitely gonna be putting the album out this year, finally. I think everyone is gonna be happy with it."
