Whether you love her or hate her, Mariah Carey does not leave people feeling indifferent. It is well known that the pop superstar loves to get noticed and receive compliments.
Now she is in talks to turn her life story into a musical. She thinks her life has enough interesting stops along the way to pique people’s interest. However, the singer-actress does not think she will appear in the project and would like Brit Leona Lewis to fill her shoes.
A member of Carey’s entourage shares, "Mariah secretly likes the idea of Leona Lewis playing her. Not only is she exotic, she’s the only one who they reckon would be able to tackle Mariah’s eight-octave vocal range."
The project has not gotten off the ground yet but it appears Mariah wants to make it happen.
She just turned 40 on March 27. Her husband, Nick Cannon, surprised her with a custom-made pink Porsche and a pink trampoline.
