Thisislondon.co.uk reports that singer Kylie Minogue is getting involved. She is taking part in a breast cancer awareness campaign for the first time since her own successful battle against the disease.
The 41-year old star posed nude wrapped in nothing but a black and white silk sheet with the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer logo.
The singer was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005 during her Showgirl world tour. She underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatments and the disease is now in remission. She resumed her concert tour in 2006.
Talking about the awareness campaign, Minogue said, "It means so much to me to be part of this year’s campaign for Fashion Targets Breast Cancer. I wholeheartedly support their efforts to raise funds for the vital work undertaken by Breakthrough Breast Cancer."
Supermodel Claudia Schiffer and actress Sienna Miller also posed for the campaign along with Minogue. Fashion photographer Mario Testino shot the campaign. The media campaign is starting today and images of Minogue, Schiffer and Miller will be popping up until May.
The Fashion Targets Breast Cancer campaign aims to raise more than a million dollars for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer organization.
