Pete Doherty is arrested again

Pete Doherty is implicated in a suspicious death.

Musician Pete Doherty was arrested and accused of supplying drugs. Orange News reports that filmmaker Robyn Whitehead died in January from a suspected drug overdose.

Whitehead was found dead in the London apartment of a Doherty friend, musician Peter Wolfe, who found the body. Robyn Whitehead was working on a documentary about Doherty.

The 27-year old heiress apparently died from a drug overdose. She is the granddaughter of Teddy Goldsmith, the founder of The Ecologist magazine. A first autopsy was not conclusive so authorities are waiting on the results of a second round of toxicology tests in order to determine her cause of death.

The Babyshambles musician turned himself in voluntarily and was arrested.

Other people have been arrested, including Peter Wolfe, Gill Samworth and musician Alan Wass who is also accused of supplying the drugs.

The four men are out on bail and will return to court in April. A source says Doherty claims he had nothing to do with Whitehead’s death.

Doherty was arrested last December for breaking a car window after throwing a drink at it. He spent several hours in custody after being charged with damaging property.

In July, he was charged with impaired driving and drug possession. A month earlier in Switzerland, he was also arrested for doing drugs in an aircraft toilet during a flight.
