Beyoncé receives an apology

A magazine apologizes to Beyoncé and fires an employee who made false allegations about her.

German magazine Neon fired one of its writers and apologized to singer Beyoncé Knowles after serious questions were raised about a story. The Star reports that parts of the published story were called into question.

In the article, freelancer Ingo Mocek said that Beyoncé signed a secret $10 million marriage contract with her husband, Jay-Z. The story also claimed that the singer has negative feelings toward white music producers.

Beyoncé completely denies these statements.

The magazine replied by saying, "We assume that the interview did not take place as claimed. We sincerely apologize to Ms. Knowles and her management for all personal inconvenience that may have arisen due to the publication of this interview."

The magazine has had problems with this freelancer before. Other supposed interviews with Christina Aguilera and Snoop Dogg have also been called into question.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married in a very hush-hush ceremony in April 2008.
