Dave Grohl’s bandmates from Them Crooked Vultures recorded a satirical video. ContactMusic reports they make fun of the rocker’s caffeine dependency during their recording sessions.
The video is posted on YouTube.com and shows the musicians recording their second album. They make fun of Grohl’s love of coffee.
The two-minute video is called Dave Grohl in Fresh Pots! It was filmed by Josh Homme from Queens Of The Stone Age and Led Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones. Viewers can see Grohl constantly asking for a fresh cup of coffee.
His bandmates say he drinks at least five cups a day.
Toward the end of the video, viewers can read that Grohl was "rushed to doctor due to the onset of unwanted physical effects caused by too much caffeine. For reals (sic). He was kind of a mess."
It then adds, "Since then he has reduced his intake of the super delicious hot beverage to a healthier level."
Them Crooked Vultures’ first album was released free online. This upcoming CD version will be available in stores on November 17.
