No Abba reunion

Members of Abba will not reunite for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

According to several sources, only two Abba members will be present tonight (March 15) at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. They will be inducted into the Hall in front of a room filled with the biggest names in music.

Fans of the Swedish pop group were hoping to hear Dancing Queen, a song the group has not performed live since 1982.  Instead, Faith Hill will perform the song.

It is possible that Benny Andersson will perform. He said, "If someone asks me to, yeah, I will. I’ll see if I can play something from the old catalog."

Andersson will attend the ceremony along with Anni-Frid Lyngstad, his ex-wife and Abba member. As for the other two members of the group, Bjorn Ulvaeus has a prior engagement and Agnetha Faltskog says she "doesn’t like to fly."

Last December, Andersson talked about his surprise when he learned Abba was heading into the Hall of Fame. He explained, "I didn’t think this would happen, because we were a pop band, not a rock band."
