A film crew will follow British singer Lily Allen to record a TV series on how she is embarking on a new fashion adventure, Orange News reports.
The star agreed to star in a reality TV show about the launch of her designer clothing rental store in London. The store is called Lucy in Disguise. Her half-sister, Sarah Owen, is also involved in the project.
The documentary will also follow Allen as she works to start up her own record label.
A source says, "Lily was approached about the TV show and thought it would help promote her new ventures as well as letting people get to know her a bit better."
This is a return to television for Lily Allen. She hosted her own television show in 2008 called Lily Allen And Friends.
Lily Allen announced her plan to take a two-year sabbatical from performing after she wraps up a concert tour this month. She will then put her music career on hold (except for one summer festival appearance with rapper Jay-Z) to focus on other things.
