100 Linkin Park albums

Linkin Park is releasing 100 live recordings.

According to Chart Attack, Linkin Park was inspired by a Pearl Jam idea to release dozens of live concert recordings. Members of the California group announced that they digitally released more than 100  professional recordings.

Members of LP Underground, Linkin Park’s fan club, can download the recordings. The group’s website says, "During this exclusive 2 week promotional period, LPU members will additionally receive a 25% discount on their purchase!"

The shows are taken from Linkin Park’s 2007 concert tour that followed the release of Minutes to Midnight. Each recording costs $9.99 US.

Drummer Rob Bourdon explained, "We originally decided it would be cool to let our fans buy a recording of the show they just attended. Once we saw the positive response to that, we figured it would be even better to make all of the shows available to anyone who would like to download them."

Linkin Park released a new song this year called Not Alone as part of the Music for Relief campaign. Money raised goes to help Haitian earthquake victims.

Members of Linkin Park are presently working on a follow up to their album Minutes To Midnight that was released in May 2007.
