Arcade Fire plan a festival stop

Montreal group Arcade Fire will take part in a music festival in Europe.

According to NME, Arcade Fire from Montreal will headline the Oxegen Festival in Europe this summer. The outdoor festival will get underway at the Punchestown Racecourse outside Dublin in Ireland between July 8 and 11.

Arcade Fire gained international success with their albums Funeral and Neon Bible.

There are rumours the group, composed of Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Parry, Tim Kingsbury, William Butler, Sarah Neufeld and Jeremy Gara, will play other European festival dates this summer. No concerts have been confirmed yet.

Here’s a list of the line-up performing at the Oxegen Festival: Aeroplane, Armand Van Helden, A-Trak, Broken Social Scene, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Ellie Goulding, Eminem, Empire Of The Sun, Erol Alkan, Faithless, Fatboy Slim, Florence And The Machine, Goldfrapp, Gossip, Hot Chip, Jay-Z, John Mayer, Kasabian, La Roux, Mumford & Sons, Muse, Newton Faulkner, Paolo Nutini, Rise Against, Stereophonics, Steve Angello, Simian Mobile Disco, Steve Aoki, The Black Eyed Peas, The Coral, The Prodigy, The Temper Trap, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend and Wolfmother.
