According to Starpulse, Whitney Houston’s spokesperson finally commented about those persistent health rumours. The rep says the 46-year old I Will Always Love You singer is doing just fine.
Whitney Houston received a lot of flak from fans this week for coughing during a show in Brisbane and taking regular breaks to catch her breath. Some left mid-show.
Fans left before the show was over in Sydney too when the singer’s voice started to fail.
Houston’s rep released a statement saying the singer is not sick. He added she is not discouraged by criticism about her Australian tour.
The spokesperson says, "Whitney is in great health and having a terrific time on her tour and with her fans. Her fans were dancing and singing along with her and Whitney appreciates their support."
The Australian promoter of Whitney Houston’s tour also weighed in on the controversy. He stated, "All I can say is what happened to the Australian positive support of someone who has seen difficult times and is now up on stage, warts and all, presenting herself like an open book for the world to see."
