Jon Voight and his daughter Angelina Jolie are reconciled after years apart. Last Sunday (February 21), Voight spent the day in Venice with his daughter, her partner Brad Pitt and their six kids.
The 71-year old actor only has good things to say about his time on Italian soil. Everything was perfect, even the weather.
"It’s a very beautiful trip. A lot of fun," he told Us magazine.
He added that 3-year old Shiloh, the couple’s first biological child, reminds him of another baby. "I have baby pictures that are very resembling of Shiloh," he noted. "I don’t know about all the resemblances, but obviously there are some because of the genes."
Besides Shiloh, 18-month old twins Vivienne and Knox are also the couple’s biological children. Maddox, 8, Pax, 6 and Zahara, 5, are all adopted.
The celebrity couple are in Venice while Angelina Jolie shoots the film The Tourist.
Voight also denied those persistent break-up rumours surrounding his daughter and her mate. "I love the possibility of spending time with the family. It’s a very beautiful thing."
