They are the two most successful stars from reality TV music shows in 2009 though neither actually won their competition. Susan Boyle from Britain’s Got Talent and Adam Lambert of American Idol fame both came in second place. Both have very promising careers ahead of them.
Adam Lambert says he is not very impressed with Susan Boyle’s I Dreamed a Dream. The album has broken records and made the 48-year old Scotswoman a millionaire in less than a month.
Lambert told Britain’s Gay Times paper, "If only it weren’t for Susan Boyle! I’m happy for her success, but that album is terrible. Wild Horses is the one that made me laugh the hardest. I just died when I heard it, I was crying with laughter. It was the most horrendous, sacrilegious treatment of that song!"
Adam Lambert and Susan Boyle both released their albums on November 23, 2009. Boyle has trampled Lambert in album sales.
