Smashing Pumpkins rocker Billy Corgan talked about his relationship with singer Jessica Simpson, reports the Daily News.
He says, "She asked me to help her out on the theme song for her new TV show, The Price of Beauty. [The show] has an interesting concept. She goes around the world to show how different people perceive beauty. In some cultures, bigger is better. In some, smaller is better. It’s interesting."
The 42-year old musician goes on to explain that he worked on one part of the show’s music.
There has been a lot of talk about the nature of the relationship between Simpson and Corgan. They were seen together for the first time in New York last December.
Rumours started circulating that the two were an item. Both stars denied the rumours and said they were just friends.
Corgan adds, "The stuff that I’ve seen doesn’t have any bearing to the reality that I’m in. It’s like being in a cartoon. It has nothing to do with what’s really going on or how I feel."
It was reported in January that Corgan was sick and tired of the media attention he attracted because of his connection to Simpson. He promised to stay friends with her and help out on her new album.
