According to The Sun, Shakira and Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal hooked up recently.
She invited the tennis star to appear in a video for the song Gypsy, off her recently released She Wolf album. The video was filmed in Barcelona this week and features the stars half naked together in a steamy setting.
Rumours have swirled since they were seen out and after Shakira attended several of his tennis matches but the two are just friends. The Colombian has been engaged to Antonio De La Rua for the last nine years.
Nadal is not the first tennis player to star in a music video. Anna Kournikova was in boyfriend Enrique Iglesias’ video Escape several years ago.
Shakira is taking part in the Spanish version remake of We Are The World. Singer Gloria Estefan is organizing that project to raise money for the Haitian reconstruction effort.
