The doc sings a new tune

Dr. Conrad Murray offers another version of events when he appears in court.

The doctor who administered the lethal dose of Propofol to Michael Jackson is changing his story. Dr. Conrad Murray was formally charged with involuntary manslaughter and pleaded not guilty. He is now offering another version of what happened the day Jackson died.

Details about the doctor’s new version of events have not been revealed. Dr. Murray had initially said he gave the singer the dose at 10:50 am and then returned to see him two minutes later.

Now, experts who have analyzed his statement think that the doctor will now admit he did not return two minutes later to see Jackson after administering that fatal dose.

His lawyer, Michael Flanagan, admitted to police, "Dr. Murray’s timeline of events that day when Michael Jackson died is wrong. Doctors make mistakes, and that is what he did, and it was simply just that, a mistake."

It is now thought that Dr. Murray only returned 73 minutes later, found Jackson unconscious and proceeded to call for help. This new version of events could serve to undermine his defence.
