During a recent interview, Lorenzo Martone confirmed that he married designer Marc Jacobs on New Year’s Day on the island of St-Barts. This was one month after Jacobs’ rep denied the story, reports Us magazine.
However, he confides that no official marriage documents have been signed. Martone says, "In the end, we just had an intimate ceremony at a friend’s house with people who were already on the island. Although the official wedding documents won’t be signed till later this year, so legally we’re not married yet."
In January, a rep for Jacobs said the marriage rumours were not true."Someone had a party for them, but there was no wedding. They are still engaged."
The Louis Vuitton designer, 46, and Lorenzo Martone, 30, got engaged in March 2009 after dating a year.
