Beyoncé can sing in the Caribbean

After some difficulties, Beyoncé finally gets permission to perform in the Caribbean.

Beyoncé has finally been given the green light to play a concert in Trinidad and Tobago. The show was in jeopardy because organizers failed to apply for a permit in time, reports Starpulse.

The singer will bring her I Am… world tour to the Caribbean country with a show in Port of Spain on February 18.

The concert was thrown into question after organizers missed a deadline to apply for a noise variation permit from the country’s Environmental Management Agency (EMA). They sent in the required paperwork seven days late.

An event that takes place without proper documentation can be shut down and organizers forced to pay hefty fines.

EMA bosses intervened and granted the late application so Beyoncé’s show can go on as planned.

The American singer won several trophies during the 52 Grammy Awards ceremony. It was broadcast live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31. She had an almost perfect night, winning six awards, including Song of the Year for Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).
