David Arquette and Courtney Cox are ready to add to their family and have been trying for months to conceive. The actors are starting to think about adoption.
The couple already have one child, Coco, who was conceived via in-vitro fertilization when Cox was 39 years old. The girl was born June 13, 2004, two days before Cox celebrated her 40th birthday.
Today, the 45-year old actress knows it is more difficult to get pregnant.
38-year old Arquette says he does not have the energy to go to all the appointments with fertility specialists and have sex. He told Us magazine, "It takes a lot for us to do it, so maybe adoption. Listen, I like practicing as much as possible! But it’s hard… I’m exhausted!"
A rep for the couple denied reports last year that claimed the couple were in the process of adopting.
Cox and Arquette are reprising their roles in the newest movie in the Scream franchise. Filming begins in April.
