Peter Gabriel helps Haiti

Singer Peter Gabriel is raising money for the Haiti relief effort.

The English singer, who launches a new album, Scratch My Back, on February 16, does a remake of David Bowie’s classic song Heroes.

The track of Bowie’s cover, found on the ex-Genesis singer’s next album, stars Gabriel in front of a wall of televisions broadcasting images from the earthquake in Haiti.

This song is also on an album full of previously unreleased material now available through MusicForRelief.org. The album offers songs from Dave Matthews Band, Hoobastank and Enrique Iglesias.

Money raised will go to earthquake victims in Haiti.

Peter Gabriel starts a new world tour in March. On March 22, his tour begins at the Palais Omnisports in Paris.
