According to a list compiled by Vanity Fair, the actress who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise, Emma Watson, is the highest paid actress in Hollywood.
Last year, Watson earned more than $30 million. Besides the Harry Potter films, she appears in ad campaigns as the face of the Burberry label.
Watson ranked 14th on the list of best paid personalities last year. She outranked Angelina Jolie, Cameron Diaz and Sarah Jessica Parker.
Her Harry Potter co-stars, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, also make Vanity Fair’s top 20. Radcliffe ranks sixth with $41 million while Grint is 15th with $30 million, same as Watson.
The top position is held by Transformers director Michael Bay with $125 million, followed by Steven Spielberg with $85 million, Roland Emmerich with $70 million, James Cameron with $50 million and, finally, Todd Phillips rounds out the top five with $44 million.
