Singer Jennifer Hudson, who rose to stardom on American Idol before appearing in the film Dreamgirls with Beyoncé and taking home the Best Supporting Actress Oscar, is now working with John Legend. He is one of the most sought after songwriters today.
John Legend tweeted that he was in studio with Hudson to work on her new album, a follow-up to her 2008 debut album. "In the studio (with) the lovely Jennifer Hudson. I’m not singing. She’s recording a couple songs my team and I wrote for her. And she sounds beautiful."
Hudson attended the Grammy Awards and took part in the Michael Jackson tribute along with Céline Dion. John Legend participated in the Hope For Haiti Now concert organized by George Clooney that has so far raised nearly $100 million for the Haiti relief effort.
