Paul McCartney will soon be the only Beatle without a star on the Hollywood Hall of Fame. Starpulse reports that Ringo Starr will be honoured next Monday.
The drummer will receive the 2,401st star to be placed on the sidewalk outside the legendary Capitol Records building. Bandmates George Harrison and John Lennon also have their names in the cement there.
The Beatles as a group have a star on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea.
Paul McCartney has yet to receive this honour. A Walk of Fame spokesperson says, "Paul McCartney was approved years ago but we are still waiting for a date from him."
Ringo Starr revealed in January that he is putting together a band and going on tour to promote Y Not, his first album in two years and the fifteenth of his solo career.
The drummer is hitting the road in 2010 but has only confirmed one musician so far, Wally Palmer, singer and guitarist of The Romantics.
