Jennifer Aniston helps Haiti

Jennifer Aniston organizes a special evening to benefit Haiti.

Jennifer Aniston is inviting her friends to a movie screening evening to raise funds for Haiti, Us magazine reports.

A rep for the actress confirms that she will host a benefit screening for AmeriCares, an organization that is helping victims in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.

A special screening of the Oscar-nominated film The Last Station, will take place later this month. A cocktail reception will be held after the screening wih the film’s director.

Tickets for the benefit event are going for $100 to $50,000 (US) per person.

Aniston also participated in the Hope for Haiti Now telethon on January 22 where she answered donor phone calls.The telethon, organized by actor George Clooney, raised more than $57 million (US), setting a telethon record.

The Hope for Haiti Now album is composed of songs performed during the telethon. It is now for sale on iTunes and is continuing to raise money for the cause. Bono, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Jennifer Hudson and Shakira are among the artists found on this album.
