AC/DC concert ends with 50 arrests amid mob of rioting fans.

Many hard-partying AC/DC fans were arrested during a chaotic concert in New Zealand Saturday (January 30), reports StarPulse.

The Australian hard-rock group was giving a concert at Westpac Stadium in Wellington. The event degenerated after nine fans were arrested and six others were ejected for unruly behaviour.

In total, 50 people were arrested for drunkenness and public disorder. Six ambulances were also called to help people suffering from an overconsumption of alcohol or drugs.

Wellington police inspector Mike Coleman kept the incident in perspective, however. The number of arrests was "not bad [for] a full moon and a nice, hot night," he said.

Last September, AC/DC was forced to postpone six concerts after a doctor ordered singer Brian Johnson to rest after surgery. Johnson, who is in his 60s, then announced he would retire after this concert tour.
