Despite the recent fight between Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien and NBC about the return of Jay Leno to host the show, O’Brien is still under contract with NBC.
The O’Brien-NBC conflict was settled with a $33 million agreement. A few days down the road and we learn that O’Brien will be executive producer of a new NBC show.
The network gave the green light to the pilot season of a new show by O’Brien’s production house, Conaco. This new, yet-to-be-named drama will follow a Supreme Court judge who leaves the bench to return to private practice.
No names have been linked to the show which is expected to appear in NBC’s fall line up.
Conaco also produced the Andy Barker, P.I. series starring Andy Richter,one of Conan’s best buds for many years.
