People reveals that 30-year old actor James McAvoy (Wanted, Atonement) will become a dad for the first time. His wife, 39-year old actress Anne-Marie Duff is pregnant.
The news was confirmed by Rupert Fowler, a rep for the actor, "We are happy to confirm that James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff are expecting their first child. We have no further comment or information at this time."
They did not say when the baby was due.
The two actors met in 2004 while filming the British series Shameless. They married in October 2006.
The couple appear in the film The Last Station alongside Helen Mirren.
In other news, James McAvoy will star in director Robert Redford’s next film, The Conspirator. A release date will soon be announced.
Anne-Marie Duff is making a film about John Lennon, Nowhere Boy, with Kristin Scott Thomas. An American release date has not been confirmed.
