Bill Murray injured while skiing

Bill Murray is in pain after injuring his leg while skiing.

Bill Murray had to use a crutch to hobble around the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 24). Starpulse reports the actor had an accident while skiing.

The Lost In Translation star hurt his leg and had to sit down and ice the sore limb while at the festival now taking place in Utah.

A source says, "He couldn’t move very well because of his leg brace. But he was shimmying as best as he could…" He could not move about for long before he needed to use ice to dull the pain.

In other news, Bill Murray will replace Toby Kebbell as murderer Happy Shannon in the film Passion Play. He joins Mickey Rourke who plays a trumpet player and Megan Fox in the role of an angel. Kelly Lynch is also in the film.

Murray will reprise his role as Dr. Peter Venkman when Ghostbusters III starts filming in November. It will be in theatres in 2012.
