Singer Peter Gabriel, releasing a new cover album in 2010, will perform in Montreal. It is the only planned Canadian stop to date and one of only four North American concerts on the New Blood mini-tour which will follow the release of his new album, Scratch My Back.
Peter Gabriel takes to the Bell Centre stage in Montreal on April 28, following five European concerts, one in Paris, two in London and two in Berlin. Montreal will be his first stop on this side of the Atlantic. He will perform two shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York on May 2 and 3 and then head to Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on May 7.
This new album, Scratch My Back, finds the ex-Genesis singer performing covers of songs by artists like Radiohead, Arcade Fire and David Bowie. They, in turn, may sing one of his songs. The album hits stores on February 16.
