Taylor Swift Pens a New Love Song

The young singing sensation, Taylor Swift, has written two new songs to be featured in her first film.

Swift, who celebrated her 20th birthday last month, will soon be starring in her first acting role.  Despite her young age, the star’s home is already filled with trophies from her exceptional year in music.  Now, maybe she’ll need room on the shelves for acting awards as well.

The film, Valentine’s Day, features vignettes on the theme of love.  Swift will play a young student in love in the flick, and she also recorded two songs for the movie’s soundtrack.

Swift’s first film role seems to be a natural move for her, since she had successful appearances on Saturday Night Live and also guest starred on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

For the movie soundtrack, Swift recorded the song Today Was A Fairytale, which was released on iTunes Tuesday.  She also wrote Jump Then Fall, which can currently be heard on the film’s official website.  The disc will be in stores on February 9, and the movie hits screens on February 12.
