Fergie and Nicole Scherzinger on Slash Solo Album

Stars from every genre have teamed up for Slash’s solo album.

Several stars have joined forces with Slash, aka Saul Hudson, for his debut solo album, which is set for an April 6 release.

The curly-haired guitarist, who began his music career 25 years ago with Guns’N’Roses, will be releasing an eponymous disc that has an impressive list of collaborations.

Among the big names are pop figures Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas and Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, who has also been working on her first solo disc.

Other collaborators include renowned artists such as former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, and Chris Cornell of Soundgarden.

Some of Slash’s big influences of the 70s have also lent him a helping hand, including Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Meat Loaf and Ozzy Osbourne.
