The Sex and the City actress will be following in Lindsay Lohan’s footsteps, after signing a lucrative deal with the American label as its artistic advisor, reports Vogue.
However, the fashion house has not given any details on the exact role that Parker would play.
Since last July, Mario Schwab has filled in as artistic director for Halston, replacing Marco Zanini.
According to Vogue, it seems that the actress will not be working directly with Schwab, but will be involved in creating another line of clothing.
Recently, the film star-turned-artistic advisor move into the fashion industry hasn’t proven to be such a smart step. The Lindsay Lohan collaboration with the label Ungaro left much to be desired. The resulting collection received harsh critiques, and the company’s founder, Emmanuel Ungaro, even deemed the collection disastrous.
Sarah Jessica Parker will be resuming her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the movie Sex and the City 2, which hits theatres on May 28.
