Gibson has had his share of public disgrace. Last April, he and his wife split after 28 years of marriage. The actor now lives with his mistress, Oksana Pochepa, 24, who recently gave birth to the star’s child, 2-month-old Lucia. Speaking of his empathy for the golf champ, Gibson said, "Nobody is without sin."
The star admitted that he’s done a "good hatchet job" on his marriage.
However, the actor offered some advice to Tiger Woods, who admitted to cheating on his wife, Elin Nordegren, several times. "You have to try to make amends if you can. You have to shut up and move on and not whine about it. And you have to deal with it like a man," said Gibson.
Woods and his wife are currently separated, following the adultery scandal that broke out shortly before the holidays. According to certain sources, Nordegren has opted for a divorce.
Tiger’s estranged wife spent the holidays in her native country of Sweden, and also headed to France to ski. She brought along her two children, Sam, 2, and Charlie, 10 months.
