Paris is now more of a party town than ever, since city officials have decided to standardize club operating hours.
In Paris, as elsewhere in the France, night clubs will now be able to keep their doors open until 7:00am. However, alcohol will only be served until 5:30am. Authorities hope this new measure will keep avid partiers on the dance floor longer, allowing the alcohol in their systems to dissipate a little. Also, the new hours will coincide with those of the city’s public transportation system, thus prompting young people to opt for it rather than getting behind the wheel after a night of drinking.
This is welcome news for tourists who are well known for frequenting the many Paris night clubs and discotheques during their vacations.
