The popular cartoon Marmaduke has been remade into a film, and the project’s first trailer can now be viewed online.
Owen Wilson lends his voice as the great dane ever in search of trouble. Emma Stone, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Ron Perlman, Anjelah N. Johnson, Steve Coogan, George Lopez, Stacy Ferguson, Damon Wayans and Jeremy Piven are also the voices of various characters in the animated film. Judy Greer, Lee Pace, David Walliams and Willam H. Macy star as humans in the movie.
The animated feature created by Brad Anderson and Phil Leeming will include real action scenes and computer-animated sequences.
The film follows the Winslow family who moves from Kansas to California. Along the way, their dog Marmaduke is back at it again and gets into trouble at every turn.
The big dog’s adventures have been loved by millions of readers and fans since the 1950s. The celebrity canine has even made a few special appearances over the years, including one in Garfield and Friends.
