Quebec’s Valcartier Vacation Village, the biggest winter playland in North America, opens its doors this Saturday, December 19 for an all-new season of snow-loving fun, featuring exhilarating rides for both kids and adults alike.
Located just north of Quebec City, the Valcartier winter wonderland offers beautiful grounds that boast enormous slopes ready for adrenaline junkies on innertubes and rafts to tackle. A particular ride called the Tornado is a slope optimally designed to get the raft spinning, to stun even the biggest daredevil.
Also at the park, and available each year, is a children’s ice castle playground that is sure to entertain. The steep summertime waterslide has been cleverly converted into a thrilling icy chute. In addition to the park’s vast menu of perks are ice skating trails and ice karting.
