Fonda’s boyfriend denies that a holiday marriage is in the works, adding that it’s too soon for them to be thinking of marriage, reports Starpulse.
Fonda, 71, has been dating musician Richard Perry, 67, since last summer. Rumours recently began circulating that the two became engaged during a party in California.
However, Perry insists that a wedding is not part of their future plans. He said, "She (Fonda) thinks it’s a bit too soon (to marry), and no doubt, she’s right, although I said from the beginning we should make our relationship a priority."
Fonda has already been married three times. Her first husband was French director Roger Vadim. Later, she married politician Tom Hayden, and was also married to media mogul Ted Turner.
Last month, the actress revealed that despite her age, she’s having better sex in her 70s than at any other time of her life.
