Kings of Leon to Delight in a Break

Kings of Leon will be taking a 6-month breather to recharge their batteries.

After leaving behind one exceptional year, the group has agreed to take a 6-month break, meaning that work on their next album and any performances and jam sessions will be coming to a temporary halt.

The Tennessee foursome spent the majority of last year on tour promoting Only By The Night, their recent album, in addition to being the major headliner of summer festivals in Europe.

Drummer Nathan Followill revealed happy words to magazine about looking forward to the band’s big break. He said, " I’m going to sit on my couch and cry tears of joy sitting in my pants with a tub of chocolate chip cookie ice cream."

Despite the pause, the drummer explained that a total of 10 songs off their forthcoming have already been written and performed. The new album has the tall task of coming after Only By The Night, which earned nominations in practically all categories, as well as awards at rock music awards ceremonies around the world.
