Bloom, who has been dating Australian model Miranda Kerr since 2007, is not engaged.
The couple has repeatedly been forced to deny engagement rumours, but the rumours were more believable after Miranda’s brother, Matthew, confirmed the news. The brother told Woman’s Day magazine, "He’s finally done it. Orlando has proposed. They’re getting married."
However, Bloom was quick to deny the rumour when his spokesperson stated, "There is no truth to any rumours of engagement."
Kerr’s close friend commented on the alleged engagement, but clarified that marriage is not in the couple’s immediate future, revealing, "It’s definitely something they talk about. She’s starting to think about marriage and a family. But they’re not ready just yet."
Orlando Bloom has finished filming Sympathy for Delicious, which opens next year, and also the film Main Street. On May 1, 2010, he will be starring in The Cross.
