Top 10 Places for the Holidays

The undeniable charm of Old Quebec enchants tourists.

Just in time for the holidays, the internet site Travel + Leisure, has released the top 10 places to spend the Christmas holidays. The list would not be complete without including Quebec City and its irrefutable old-world charm.

According to writers, Taos, an isolated, desert city located in New Mexico, is where the true Christmas spirit is found. In the town’s historic Ledoux Street, people re-enact the arrival of Mary and Joseph and their search for lodging on Christmas Eve. They also light fires and multi-coloured candles to illuminate the city.

On the other side of the Atlantic, we find the city of Tromso, Norway. The city came in 3rd place in the survey and is highly recommended to chase away holiday blues. At that altitude, you are certain to hear Santa and his elves busy at work and you also stand a good chance to marvel at the aurora borealis.
