On Saturday (December 5), Alexa Ray Joel, who is Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley’s daughter, ended up in the hospital after she and her boyfriend had a dispute.
According to a source, she had taken an anti-inflammatory drug called Traumeel. "She became worried about breathing, which is why 911 was called," the source explained.
Another source added, "She was apparently distraught over an argument with her boyfriend."
Joel was treated at New York’s St. Vincent Hospital and was discharged, while her father was there by her side.
According to her Twitter page, Alexa Ray was set to give two performances in New York on December 10. There is no information right now on whether the shows will still go on.
