The actress, who is well known for her environmental awareness as well as her vegetarian lifestyle, has teamed with Ecotools to create the new collection, reports Coco Perez.
The bags are made from natural hemp and are decorated with a floral print created with non-toxic ink. Even the labels have been printed on recycled paper.
Some of the bags include cosmetic brushes that are made from environmentally friendly materials, such as bamboo, recycled plastics, soybean oil and crushed nuts.
The ecological collection from Alicia Silverstone and Ecotools will be available this month at Target and Walgreens stores.
