Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga have compiled the most Grammy nominations.

It’s going to be the women’s year to shine at the upcoming Grammy Awards ceremony, judging from the list of nominees compiled from votes casted by those in the music industry.

Alone, Beyoncé received 10 nominations in categories such as Song Of The Year (Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)), Record Of The Year (Halo), and Album Of The Year (I Am…Sasha Fierce).

Taylor Swift saw her name appear in 7 categories, and is also competing for Song Of The Year (You Belong With Me), Record Of The Year (You Belong With Me) and Album Of The Year (Fearless).

As the old expression goes, "there’s never 2 without 3," Lady Gaga, who racked up 5 total nominations, entered the arena in the Song Of The Year (Poker Face), Record Of The Year (Poker Face) and Album Of The Year (The Fame) categories.
