Brady isn’t one for big surprises. Unlike his supermodel wife Gisele, he preferred to find out the sex of the baby in her belly that is due this month, reports Us magazine.
"I’m really the only one that knows at this point. My dad asked me. I haven’t told him. [Gisele] doesn’t know. It’s a pretty good feeling knowing something that no one else knows," said the Patriots quarterback over the Boston airwaves.
The football star, who is also father to a two-year-old boy, John, born from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan, revealed that his wife had no problem with him wanting to know the baby’s sex.
"She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead,’" he revealed. "It will be a surprise for her."
The only catch is that the father-to-be must keep the secret. His trick is to constantly mix up names of boys and girls when he refers to the baby. "I don’t think I’ve ever slipped. I’m very conscious when I’m saying it," he said.
